Irish Music Access Programme
The Irish Music Access Programme, “Pathway to the Well” at Balbriggan ETNS provides students with the opportunity to explore and engage with traditional Irish music. Through this initiative, children learn to play a variety of traditional instruments, participate in group performances, and develop a deep appreciation for Ireland’s rich musical heritage. The programme is designed to be inclusive and accessible, ensuring that all students, regardless of their musical background, can take part and enjoy the benefits of music education. By fostering creativity, collaboration, and cultural pride, the Irish Music Access Programme plays an essential role in enriching the school experience for our students.
Choir
Choir is a musical opportunity afforded to children from 3rd to 6th class. Children who are interested in singing with the choir come to practice at lunchtimes.
The choir learns a diverse range of songs and performs at various events including the winter concerts and an annual sing-a-long with St Molaga’s choirs.
All children are welcome in the choir and no audition is required.
